Highway Department Updates for November 6th

Administration:
- This week worked on new fiscal budget for 2024-2025
- Had our weekly meeting with FEMA
- Looked at several road issues in Town, along with several driveway permits
Crew Duties:
- Road graded Bell Road, Texas Road, Cummings Road, and New Heron Road
- Blew leaves off the roadsides
Maintenance:
- Completed repairs to 2010 International and verify all the functions for winter services are functioning properly
- Completed repairs to 2017 Kenworth and verify all the functions for winter services are functioning properly

Building:
- Garage door is installed
Training:
- Ongoing
Paving Projects:
- None currently
Upcoming Events:
- Picking up leaves around Town
- Tree removal on Highland and Broadway Street
- Please be mindful of having basketball hoops off the Town roads by November 1, 2023
