Plymouth Fire Rescue Press Release

Plymouth Fire – Rescue was dispatched for a building fire on April 27th, 2024 at 7:41 AM located at 219 Old North Main St.  Companies were still repacking from the building fire that occurred hours before on Pleasant St.  They were able to respond within minutes after the tone.  Car Two responded immediately and observed a heavy smoke column from main street, a 1st Alarm was requested.  Minutes later, Car Two arrived to find heavy fire conditions from the rear of the building, a 2nd alarm was requested.

Companies arrived, performed a search of the building, found the building to be clear.  The building received heavy fire damage to all three floors and is considered a total loss.  A total of 4 adults, 1 juvenile were displaced.  Red Cross was called in to assist the occupants.  NH State Fire Marshall was requested to assist with Origin & Cause Investigation.

Plymouth Fire – Rescue was assisted by Plymouth Police, Campton-Thornton, Holderness, Ashland, Rumney, Bristol, Wentworth, New Hampton, Center Harbor, Meredith Fire Departments, Warren-Wentworth EMS, Stewarts EMS, NH Electric Co-op and Plymouth Village Water District.
